What to bring? Yoga mat or non slip rug, bottle of water and please wear loose comfortable clothing

What ages are allowed? Our services are suitable for all ages and abilities

How about with long term injuries? In the case of long term injuries an initial consultation is strongly advised. Yoga can usually be adapted to suit everyone’s individual requirements. Personalized 1-1 sessions of yoga therapy may be more appropriate in certain circumstances

Do I need to be fit? No. Yoga is for all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities. As long as you can breathe you can do yoga!

What if I cannot get on the floor? No problem. Sitting in a chair can be as effective as lying on a mat
What does a yoga class normally include?

With Dru Yoga we begin with activations to stimulate the organs and circulation, warm and loosen the joints and help the mind to arrive.

This is usually followed by gentle stretching and  a simple energy block release sequence, breath awareness and asanas (postures) and finish with a  wonderful relaxation.

I have never done yoga before, is that a problem?

Not at all.  Everyone is catered for during a Dru Yoga class.
Dru Yoga is for everyone and you will be surprised how quickly your body responds to gentle movement, breathing and relaxation techniques and your mind and body becomes more flexible. Part of yoga awareness training is to always listen to your own body and don’t overstretch or strain.
